Darwin Bowls and Social Club is an Incorporated Association pursuant to Northern Territory legislation. Its objects, functions and powers are set out in the Constitution and by-laws.
The club is managed by a Board of Management comprising the following positions:
Chairperson
Vice-chairperson
Treasurer
Secretary/Public Officer
House and Social Director
Greens Director
Bowls Committee ex-officio representatives (2)
The Club bowls competitions are overseen by a Bowls Committee comprising:
Men’s and Ladies Presidents
Men’s and Ladies representatives
Men’s and Ladies Games Directors
Meetings of the Board of Management are held monthly.
The Annual General Meeting is publicly advertised and occurs in the first two weeks of November each year. Only full members are eligible to vote for nominees to the Board or the Bowls Committee.
Board of Management and Bowls Committee meeting minutes are displayed on the Board of Management notice board in the club house. Any members wishing to obtain an electronic copy of meeting minutes can request the same by emailing the club
